Help us put pollinators on the map:

Utah is home to many diverse pollinating insects across its varied landscapes. These tiny animals are active at different times throughout the growing season and respond to environmental conditions like weather and availability of food and shelter. Understanding their population size and range is vitally important to the conservation work being done to help protect pollinating insects. Through Utah Pollinator Pursuit, community scientists help gather that information and support important conservation research!

There are two key ways to be involved with Utah Pollinator Pursuit:

  • Record Pollinator Sightings

This is the easiest way to conserve Utah's monarchs and bumble bees. Just download the iNaturalist app and use it to record encounters with pollinators across Utah —anywhere you see them!

  • Pollinator Habitat Improvement Projects

We’re thrilled to put years of valuable pollinator data to action in 2025 through pollinator habitat improvement projects! Join us in creating pollinator habitat across Northern Utah in this hands-on restoration work.
